CNC-Workshop Fashion Show
The CNC-Workshop Shop Apron
Custom made for the CNC-Workshop - The shop aprons we used to buy years ago just don't seem to be available anymore - Maybe that's because all of the manufacturing work is going to China and no-one uses them anymore in the US
At any rate, after getting tired of looking we found a manufacturer of coveralls and work clothing (Protexall) to custom make these to our specifications. Long wearing, close weave twill with adjustable neck straps and other features that are particularly well suited to machine shop work
The top pocket has segmented sections to hold a 6 inch rule, a pen or pencil and a micrometer. In addition it is hinged at the top so that when you bend over to pick up something on the floor or a bottom shelf, the pocket swings out and your micrometer will not fall out and be damaged.
There are also two lower pockets to hold shop rags or other items but with a difference. The flaps at the top of the pockets keep out chips from your milling machine or lathe and now when you reach in these pockets you don't pull your hand out with the fingers all bloody from metal chips. And on the (rare) occasions when your shop apron goes home to be washed, cleaning out the pockets doesn't produce so many complaints from the "Boss"
Also note the classy enbroidered "CNC-Workshop" logo at the top!
These shop aprons will be available for sale at the CNC-Workshop for $20.00 -
